Dear Haven Board members and supporters
This past week has been overwhelmingly hard for Jeannie
Gadea, our Board President, for her family, and for their friends and
supporters. I am sure all of you know by now that Diego, Jeannie’s
and Manuel’s son, and Mario’s brother, committed suicide on Friday June 17th.
Personally, I am devastated. Just a week before his death, he
had been volunteering his services at The Haven’s Adelaide drive campus.
His death has been a great shock; his obituary is attached here.
